When we visit any pilgrimage place we should not only have a darshan of a presiding deity of that temple/place, but also feel the energy of that place.
When thousands of devotees come and direct their energy towards a deity, It enlivens. We should experience that aura, energy.
We should also try to help as many people in the vicinity of a temple as possible. They are there not because they trust us, but they trust in God and we, as devotees of God. So to keep their faith alive also, we must do whatever is possible.
