We were all born pure without any lables, prejudices, knowledge of right and wrong etc. except what may have been stored in our subconscious mind. At least we were not aware of the world and its nature.
As we grew up, our innocence was replaced by various tendencies triggered by shadripu…six biggest enemies of the mankind (काम, क्रोध, मद, मोह, लोभ, मत्सर). We developed likes, dislikes, prejudices, preferences, perceptions, cunningness and so on. In short, we are fully conditioned in various belief systems.
We should get rid of all these unwanted mental baggages and restore our child like innocence to experience happiness and bliss.
