Good people have a major responsibility to share and that is to spread goodness.
However, care should be taken to prevent unscrupulous people from taking undue advantage of their goodness. The glaring example is that of beggars. It has turned into an industry. They miseuse our compassion.
It is better to help a known person who is financially weak rather than giving alms to a beggar.
