We should be vocal and forthright in putting across our point of views. When there is a debate between right and wrong, our silence can be dangerous as we may be seem to be supporting wrong side.
Haven’t we seen the plight of Kaurava bigwigs on keeping silence when Draupadi was humiliated? We need to speak up. We need to take sides. We just can’t avoid opinionating because we don’t want to displease someone.
Yes, while expressing our views, we should be non-personal, non-accusing, non-abusive, firm but polite, and so on. This is true for any debate, political, family, societal etc.
