Any prudent investment advisor will advise to start investing earlier in life, continue small but consistent investments and stay invested for a long period to reap benefits of compounding gains.
Same applies to social services. We cannot and should not wait for an ideal time or to get old to help others. If we want to accumulate good karma, we need to start early in life. We don’t know how much time we have in life and therefore earlier the better.
Similar is for spiritual awakening in life.
