Consensus is good, but not practical all the time. There will always be some people who are against new ideas, or thoughts that do not gel with their thinking or stands taken by them in the past.
So, we may have to go ahead and take risk of implementing new ideas. We should be careful of not being offending or arrogant in taking a call.
We should execute new ideas with all sincerity involving everyone and giving credit to others on achieving success.
