We should not give any unsolicited advices to anyone. Usually, (in any era) youngsters don’t like to be advised on any matters.
Human mind is evolving and therefore, every succeeding generation is more intelligent and sharp than the preceding generation. Also the pace of evolution is so fast that in every 2 to 3 of years, the generation changes, which earlier used to take decades.
One of the best things is to give some tips, in the most persuasive way and enough rope to make mistakes and learn by themselves. Another way is to become a role model and inspire them rather than dictating.
