Today the world is celebrating the International Labour Day. Labourers are the backbone of any economy and the society. Therefore, dignity of labour is of paramount importance.
Unfortunately, in India we lack in giving respect to labourers. Still some jobs are looked down upon and some are respected beyond measure. Of late, we find the shift towards dignity of labor with skill oriented and manual labourers getting attention. However, we have a lot to be done to improve.
On the other hands, many labourers are dishonest and irresponsible in discharging their duties. कामचोरी and slackering are in the bloods of many resulting into low productivity and inefficient use of resources. This is dangerous for any economy and the society.
May God bless all labourers with the wisdom to work honestly and prosper in life. May God bless everyone in the society with the wisdom to value every work and treat every labourer/person with respect and dignity!
