We fly 
Kites on Makarshankrati Day, which usually falls on 14th January. Kites teach us many lessons.
Colour or shape of the Kite doesn’t impact its flying capabilities. It is the skill of the person and wind that matters. Similarly, we humans may be of any colour, shape or size, we all can grow provided we handle or navigate our life skillfully.
Favourable wind in terms of divine grace or good luck can help us soar higher easily. Again, they both depend upon our Karma and way of life. So, essentially growth and progress in life are in our hands.
