Some people don’t care about others in their prime time. They become arrogant, unresponsive, and belittle others. Some do it while holding an office of power, like politicians, bureaucrats; while some take advantage of their peculiar position, situation or seniority.
Whatever may be the reason for arrogance, the wheel 
of time does not spare anyone and punishes wrong doers. By the time they realise their mistakes, it is too late.
Therefore, *wisemen say, it’s ok, if you cannot help someone, but never harrass anyone.*
One may get away from man made laws for harrassing someone, but divine laws will not spare anyone.
