It is not easy to get rid of years of conditioning, especially regarding religious beliefs and rituals. Religious leaders instill fear in us and make us believe unbelievable. This is common across all religions and faiths, especially, the organised religions and cults.
We need to develop an intellectual understanding about religion and its rituals. A ritual should be followed only upon knowing its relevance and necessity.
