It means God never fails His devotees. He is always there to help those who surrender to Him.
History is replete with instances of God taking care His devotees and protecting them against all odds. Examples of such devotees are: Bhakta Prahalad, Narsi Mehta, Mirabai, Draupadi and so on.
To experience God’s grace we need to have unflinching faith, patience and complete surrender.
