Today let’s pray for the migrant workers, who leave their families to earn their livelihood. In India and other developing countries, people migrate from villages to cities in search of work or job. Their struggle is very harsh. Many of them live in sub-human conditions away from their homes.
As an employer we should be sympathetic to them. As colleagues we should be supportive and as humans we should be compassionate with them. They deserve better life and facilities.
We encounter with such people regularly as they serve us as our house hold helps, maid servants, drivers, vegitable/fruits vendors laundry person, construction workers and so on. A little help for their families beyond their legitimate dues can make their lives better.
May God bless us with the wisdom to extend our whole hearted support to migrant workers!
