According to Swami Chinmayanandji love poistioned by desire (to get something in return) is a lust. The emotion of love (or attraction?) for the mortals is called love, but when Love is for the Higher (God), it turns into “Devotion”.
Devotion is the highest and the purest form of love. It is unconditional. Love is the Supreme Divine Energy.
Love is reflected in divine virtues like care, compassion, respect, trust, honesty, truthfulness and so on.
