Jai Gurudev! Divine Soul!

DISCIPLINED OR CONTROLLED CONSUMPTION IS DIFFICULT THAN GIVING UP THINGS COMPLETELY!

Complete avoidance or abstainance is perceived to be easier than exercising a restraint.

When we avoid a thing, we usually don’t think of it, but when we have to indulge or enjoy it in a controlled way, it is difficult. For example, complete fasting may be easier than following a strict diet or eating limited.

A small slip may lead to a big fall if we don’t know how to handle ourselves. A small hole in a boat may sink it, if not plugged in time. Similarly, if we don’t know when to stop and we start indulging in a thing or food, we may land up consuming extra.

May God bless us with the wisdom to avoid or abstain from undesired stuff, than try to control ourselves!

Tathastu! Swasti Siddham! Amen! So Be It!
