In any situation our primary duty is to cover our back. We cannot help society by jeopardizing our lives, family or interest. We can serve the society, only if we are strong, healthy and fearless.
There is no point in doing social services with good intentions but bad execution. In the event of any mishap/tragedy, intentions are difficult to prove, whereas allegations are easy to make. Mere good intentions cannot absolve us from statutory obligations/compliances under a law.
We should be mindful of risks and rewards. We should be aware of efforts and impact. We should be careful and compliant of laws, regulations and their compliances.
