If we want people to listen to us, first we need to listen to them. In today’s busy world, nobody has time to listen to others. There is an acute shortage of good listeners.
We are living in a fast or fatafat (फटा फट) era. People want everything instantaneously. Fast food, fast delivery of groceries, goods (10 minutes), fast trains, fast conversations, and so on. With Artificial Intelligence, the speed of tasks has increased unimaginable.
Perhaps, we will need AI powered machines to listen to people. Without an empathetic listening, the society is degenerating. Human values have gone for a toss.
May God bless us with the wisdom to slow down and listen to people, Nature, songs of birds, music of flowing rivers, stories of blooming flowers, thunders of clouds and so on!
