Happy International Labour or Workers’ Day!
Today world celebrates the May Day to recognise the rights of labourers. 1st May also marks begining of the new season and European Spring Festivals.
Workers are the backbone of any economy. Their safety and health are of prime importance. Stringent norms are prescribed in many countries, including India, to safeguard workers’ interests.
Unfortunately, in India desirable dignity of labour is not there. No work is small. Imagine the plight of a city if all sweepers go on a strike. Therefore, we must uphold the dignity of workers.
May God bless us with the wisdom to respect every work and every labourer!
