GUARDING PERSONAL AFFAIRS IS NECESSARY FOR DECENT PUBLIC BEHAVIOUR OR IMAGE!
There is a proverb in English that “do not wash your dirty linen in public.” It means we should not discuss or disclose our private matters in/to public, especially when they are unpleasant or embarrassing.
Everyone has some or other personal matters, weaknesses or problems. There is no point in making them public. Our public behaviour or appearance should be dignified and gracious.
Similarly, we should maintain dignity of others as well. We should not put anyone in an embarrassing situation by disclosing his/her personal affairs.
May God bless us with the wisdom to keep ours’ and others’ secrets intact and/or protected from the public!
Tathastu! Swasti Siddham! Amen! So Be It!
