A person should qualify to receive knowledge. That’s why a student is taught various subjects in stages. A student who passes in exams of a lower standard qualifies to study subjects of higher standards and therefore promoted.
A Guru imparts knowledge and wisdom to only those disciples who are matured and ready to receive and digest.
