HAVE PATIENCE IN CONVINCING PEOPLE; WE KNOW HOW DIFFICULT IT IS TO CONVINCE OURSELVES!
We cannot convince a closed mind for anything. Forget about convincing others, we cannot change our own age old beliefs. It requires courage to accept new ideas and thoughts, especially, when they are contrary to our set beliefs.
Perhaps, the best way to make the other person accept our thoughts, ideas or suggestions is to talk about benefits of our ideas/suggestions to them.
*We can plant a seed of thought in People’s minds and leave it to blossom with their own contemplation.* Gradually, they will own up a thought and accept it.
