IF WE DON’T DECIDE FOR OURSELVES, SOMEONE ELSE WILL DECIDE FOR US!
The real freedom lies when we won’t need other’s approval to do what we want. We may consult someone, take guidance or opinion in deciding what to do. However, if we need their permission then we are not free.
Many people voluntary surrender their independence to others. They are, either not confident of their choices and decisions, or consider themselves inferior to those who exercise their influence on them.
God has gifted us intelligence, and we should make use of it for our good. Mortgaging our intelligence to someone else is also an abuse of it.
May God bless us with the wisdom to use our intelligence and exercise the freedom to choose what is good for us and what is not!
