Some people take pride in fooling others. Well, materially they may benefit temporarily, but damage their own psych permanently. They can fool others but not themselves, as they can’t face themselves.
A person who may be taken for a ride is usually a straight forward and simple person. He may be so innocent that he is unaware of cunning people around. He would trust people easily.
Being honest to the core, he would consider everyone as honest. Though rare, such people do exist and make this world a better place to live.
Spiritually, it is an honour to possess such a nature, though materially it may be disasterous.
