It is better to stop or postpone discussion on a matter where we have significant disagreement. Sometimes, the timing of discussion is not proper resulting in discord. In such a situation, it is better to wait for an appropriate time.

Our disagreement should also be cordial and respectful, such that we maintain a healthy relationship notwithstanding our different viewpoints.
