We should not question the belief of an individual. Sanatan Dharm recognises both ways of worship – i.e. with and without form; Sagun Sakar aur Nirgun Niraakar. Human mind needs a prop. Therefore, idol worship is recognised in Sanatan Dharma.
When God can tolerate an atheist, then who are we? *Those who believe in God knows that even an atheist is a creation of God. And therefore, a true devotee never argues or questions an atheist.*
*If God wishes, even an atheist can become an ardent devotee.*
