We may be strict in enforcing rules and regulations, but be considerate in accomodating genuine hardships.
Only machines can run perfectly (even they need pause and maintenance). Humans are far more complex. We are bundle of emotions, intelligence, skills, attitudes and so on. Like machines, we too need maintenance, i.e. rest, recreation, rejuvenation etc.
*Humans need to be handled with care.* This applies to every relationship.
